Volunteers are making it happen

None of this would happen without the efforts of volunteers. Our project is community-powered for the community and we want as many people as possible to be a part of our amazing team.

Our volunteers:

have contributed almost 11,000 hours and raised over £10,000 to date.

Our volunteers:

• Run the Community Shop and Cafe
• Help us maintain our garden
• Support with marketing
• Oversee all the governance and policies

Volunteering opportunities

Volunteering is fun and very rewarding and there are lots of opportunities to get involved. Some volunteers help out on an as and when basis, others are part of a regular rota, the choice is yours. These are just some of the things you could get involved in:

• Working in the shop or café
• Supporting kitchen staff with pot washing
• Helping with the opening and closing of the shop and cafe

We are open Monday - Saturday, with 3 hour shifts available between the hours of 8am-5pm. No matter how little time you have to give, we'd love to have you.
