Volunteers are making it happen

None of this would happen without the efforts of volunteers.

Our volunteers:

have contributed almost 11,000 hours and raised over £10,000 to date.

Our volunteers:

• run the Community Café
• the Kids Kafe
• the Community Cinema
• are developing the community shop and café
• oversee all the governance and policies

Volunteering opportunities

Volunteering is fun and very rewarding and there are lots of opportunities to get involved. Some volunteers help out on an as and when basis, others are part of a regular rota, the choice is yours. These are just some of the things you could get involved in:

• Setting up the café Tuesday evening 9pm
• Serving in the café Wednesday 9-12
• Working in the Kitchen Wednesday 9-12
• Helping out at the Kids Kafe Half term Fridays 3-4.30pm
• Being part of the cinema team first Friday of the month 6pm

Or maybe you'd like to get involved in developing the new community shop and cafe?

We need help with:

• Raising money for the new shop/café
• Building and fitting out the shop/café
• Running the shop/café, serving, stacking, cooking.
